What are working days?
Working days, also called business days, are days counted for a work schedule or business process. Many organizations use Monday through Friday, but working schedules and holidays differ by country, state, industry and employer. This calculator lets you choose weekend rules and enter holidays that should be excluded.

Frequently asked questions
Are the start and end dates included?
Both are included by default when they fall on working days. You can uncheck either option to exclude that boundary date.
Does the calculator automatically include Indian public holidays?
No. Public holidays vary by state, employer and year. Add the holidays that apply to your calendar to get a more accurate count.
Are weekends counted as holidays?
The selected weekend days are excluded from the working-day total. You can choose Saturday and Sunday, Sunday only, Friday and Saturday, or no weekend days.
What if the end date is earlier than the start date?
The calculator will ask you to correct the range. Choose an end date that is the same as or later than the start date.
